The Congress Avenue
Lavender oat milk latte with a touch of vanilla. Soft, floral, and grounding — our most requested drink since day one.
Rooted in Austin. Brewed with intention.

6th Street Coffee started with a simple conviction: that a neighborhood deserves a place where the coffee is as considered as the company. We opened our doors on East 6th in 2019 — a small room with a long walnut bar, a secondhand turntable, and a commitment to doing one thing well.
We source single-origin beans from small farms in Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Colombia, roasted in small batches by our partner roaster just north of the river. Every drink is made by hand, without shortcuts, by people who care about the craft.
The shop has grown, but the feeling hasn't changed. The same afternoon light still comes through those street-facing windows. The same records still play. And the espresso machine still hisses the same way at 7 a.m., every morning, for the people who show up.
“Every cup is a conversation.”

Curated vinyl. Pour-overs. Golden hour.
